Farm hand / (tractor) machinery operator Job at Alton Irrigation, Inc.
Family owned and operated agribusiness seeking experienced individuals with farm type backround. Employees duties change throughout the seasons, and can involve the following: tractor/applicator operation, maintenance of equipment & vehicles, welding & fabrication, troubleshooting & problem solving, center pivot irrigation (steel frame) assembly, service, & maintenance. Applicants should be capable of physical labor & a fast paced environment at times. Anyone applying for this position needs a valid drivers license and must have the ability to speak fluent english. Employees average different amounts of hours (time & a half over 40 hrs) throughout the year. Normally 50-65 in the spring and summer, and 60-75 for 2 months of the fall. 40 hours normally through the winter months. We work Monday-Saturday; weather permitting.
