Farmers Market Assistant Job at The Baker and The Cakemaker, Inc.
The Baker and the Cakemaker, Inc. is looking for a Farmers Market sales associate.
We are an artisan bread bakery focused on providing Placer County and surrounding areas with high quality handcrafted artisan breads and pastries using organic ingredients.
2 days a week, Tuesday, and Saturday.
Key Responsibilities:
Unload vehicle
Set up booth to our standards: neat and visually appealing
Sell product
Make correct change
Educate customers on our products
Engage and encourage customers to taste and purchase
Effectively track sales
Breakdown booth
Count Inventory and complete market accounting paperwork
Ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
Sales and food service experience
Enjoys working independently
Able to lift 50lbs
Enjoys educating and informing customers
Cash handling experience and good math skills
Positive, engaging personality
Strong customer service skills
Required: clean driving record, ability to work weekends, able to lift 50 Pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
