We are an international brand that focuses on luxury fashion. There are over twelve brands under the Tykoon Brands umbrella. The most important to note include Haculla, Mostly Heard Rarely Seen, Mostly Heard Rarely Seen 8-BIT, and Private Stock Labs. Each of our brands generate millions in revenue each year and they are selling on our website, Farfetch.com, and in many different top luxury department stores and boutiques globally such as Saks 5th Ave, Neiman Marcus, and Selfridges.

We are looking for a Fashion Marketing & PR Coordinator with a real passion for fashion, specifically the luxury markets.

*Resume and Portfolio (or include copywriting samples - preferably marketing/product related) are required for this job application.*

Essential Functions:

  • Forecasts market trends, creates marketing strategies to launch and market new products.
  • Helps shape the brand positioning and narrative while targeting the proper audience
  • Write copy for a variety of digital media, including social networks, ads copies, landing pages, websites, product tutorials, videos, marketing campaigns, and blogs.
  • Manage all of our social media channels and ensure all content has a clear purpose that is aligned with the overarching content strategy, brand identity, and business objectives.
  • Point person for PR agencies, events coordination, product placement.
  • Maintaining Press lists of editors, bloggers, stylists, influencers, and tastemakers for fashion shows and events.
  • Think outside the box and develop custom solutions in collaboration with Sales, Account Management, Content & Creative Teams and Brand Marketing and others to assess project needs and help with messaging

Qualifications:

  • Excellent knowledge of public relations best practices, brand management, online content strategy and creation.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail, language, flow, and grammar
  • Strong creative thinking skills and ability to think conceptually
  • Social media skills (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok, Snapchat etc.)
  • Proficient ​in all Microsoft and Adobe programs
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently, often with short deadlines
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, and operate under pressure

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, marketing, communications or a relevant field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a marketing strategist, marketing manager, or similar role
  • 2 years of proven experience as a copywriter or related role, preferably with a marketing agency
  • Experience working in the public relations industry is a plus.

Required Work Schedule:

  • This is a Full-time position from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday (on-site)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
