Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Clean driving record for past 3 years.
- Must have previous commercial driving experience (total of 1 year in the past 3 years or a total of 5 years in the past 10 years).
- Excellent personal skills: ability to communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, and customers.
- Valid Chauffer's/Driver's License
- MUST be reliable, and capable of working a Flexible Schedule (Weekend availability is MANDATORY)
Description
As a delivery driver for Adept Courier Express, you’ll be delivering to residents and businesses around the Metro Detroit area for one of the world’s most iconic brands. We service Farmington Hills, Dearborn Heights and the Westside of Detroit, MI. Each morning, we provide all the tools you’ll need for the day: a truck, a device to log your packages, a manager to assist you as necessary, and the packages themselves!
Schedule: We can create a schedule around your availability. We operate 7 days a week.
Attendance: It is important that you show up on time to fulfill your scheduled route consistently.
Attitude: You’ll need to bring a “can-do” optimistic attitude, and maintain a pleasant, professional demeanor with our clients and their customers
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, On-call
Salary: Drivers are paid based on the number of deliveries made in a day. The average day will consist of 150-180 stops per day at a rate of $1 per stop ($150-180/day).
