The Opportunity:
Responsible for bulk-pack, break-away, case-pack and operating shrink tunnel and robot. Maintain housekeeping and 5S to standards set by management. Follow all WestRock Core Values and Behaviors. Additional job duties as assigned by department manager
Expectations/Guidelines:
Pack cartons to customer job specifications for shipment.
Complete necessary paperwork.
Operate banding equipment.
Review product for quality.
Ability to read and interpret job specifications.
Enter production information into computer.
Meet production goals.
Operate labeling equipment.
Sort, separate and sometimes correct cartons as directed by supervisor.
Generate and apply case labels to finished goods pallets.
Generate and apply finished goods bar codes and match to pallet.

What You Need to Succeed:
Must be able to lift cartons onto belt.
Able to bend an move to pack cartons into corrugated boxes.
Must be willing to float to other jobs as needed.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

Essential/Marginal Functions and Physical Requirements:
Essential: Pack cartons according to job sheet.
Marginal: May be required to feed/pack on gluers and cellos.
