We are seeking a field engineer to help support NJ projects.
Field Engineer to assist the construction project manager and superintendents as follows:
- To create and carry out project objectives, work plan procedures, and field data collection, to include assisting superintendent on concrete pour days and ordering materials
- Work with the construction superintendent to prepare look-ahead schedules and provide necessary updates of construction activities.
- Assist project manager in subcontractor and material buyouts, create purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
- Input payroll, initial review and approval of project invoices and time and material billing preparation.
- Draft transmittals/submittals and RFI’s.
- Participate in construction meetings, record and publish meeting minutes.
- Request and review subcontractor/supplier deliverables.
Required Skills:
- Experience in the construction field a plus but entry level applicants will be considered
- Able to work in team environment
- Good Written / Verbal Skills / Computer skills
