Field Engineer – Industrial Piping (Entry Level)

Job Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for reviewing construction drawings. Field Engineers shall work closely with project Engineer to update all drawings, specifications, and vendor data.

• Applying sound engineering knowledge of utility engineering principles and practices with training and guidance from other engineers and managers.
• Performing a variety of engineering calculations and tasks to assist the operations team in execution of work as per contract plans and specifications.
• Providing Engineering support for each piping installation area and create checklists coordination of project activities with other.
• Performing quality assurance audits to ensure operations team follow prescribed processes and are completed according to specifications and quality requirements.
• Communicating clearly with Project Engineer to draft RFIs and Submittals.
• Communicate clearly with Project Engineer regarding questions, allowable hours, allowable timeframe and any anticipated delays in project schedule.
• Assist supervision and project controls in the preparation of detailed work plans and short-term schedules.
• Additional responsibilities as required will be allotted as per project requirements.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Applied science/Industrial Engineer with piping design concentration or similar.
• Ability to learn and apply new skills and learn engineering software by watching video courses and engaging in self-directed learning.
• Ability to read and understand designs and drawings.
• Ability to solve open-ended problems with minimal guidance or external motivation.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work.
• Enthusiasm for engineering work.
• Unique skills and talents will be considered.
• Entry-Level Position.

Compensation:

• Competitive pay with benefits and weekly per diem.
