Field Reimbursement Manager

The field reimbursement support team will help to eliminate barriers for patients to improve access to medically necessary treatments. The FRM will help resolve patient access issues, educate healthcare provider’s and their offices on appropriate reimbursement, access, and coverage issues affecting the Client’s product, and provide services to alleviate reimbursement and access issues impacting the ability of patients to access client’s products.


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze access and reimbursement issues and opportunities
  • Provide reimbursement and coverage expertise to Providers on behalf of patients
  • Coordinate on coverage, access, and reimbursement issues with third parties, including HUBs
  • Ensure processes are in place to drive clear communication with other field-facing teams to ensure clarity of reimbursement and access issues
  • Listen and respond appropriately to Client and Provider needs and questions related to access, coverage, and reimbursement
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Client’s Product(s)
  • Regularly and timely communicate with Client Market Access and field sales force managers
  • Create and maintain a positive relationship with Client and Provider personnel
  • Participate in National, regional meetings and trainings
  • Ensure behaviors are consistent with Healthcare Compliance guidelines

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field, required
  • Previous experience (3+ years) as a pharmacy benefit focused FRM, in a provider’s office, or HUB support center manager on a specialty product
  • Must have payer policy knowledge including public and private payers, expert knowledge of benefit verifications and prior authorization/pre-determination requirements and knowledge of reimbursement processes within various sites of care
  • Coding certification a plus when other requirements are fulfilled

Additional Requirements:

  • Account management experience a plus
  • Must be able to lead and coordinate multiple stakeholders and associated teams for synergistic results
  • Must be able to deliver and document benefit investigation outcomes and relay status reports on a regular basis
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities within a changing environment
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills
  • Demonstrated level of proficiency with support technology (PC and CRM tools, Microsoft Teams)
  • Must be able to secure credentialing to access relevant customers and accounts in territory
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Duties may require compliance with client requirements that all those performing services on-site be fully vaccinated
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time

The salary range for this role is 130,000 - 150,000. The actual salary will vary based on factors like candidate qualifications and competencies. Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus, sales incentives and/or stock. Benefits may include healthcare, retirement, paid time off, and more.
