We are seeking a teachable and motivated professional to support our Finance and Accounting team with various duties as we continue to grow as an organization. This person will assist with time and expense auditing, and electronic document management, and support various other tasks, which may range from filling to budget and invoice review and reconciliation.

As we grow as a company, we are looking for a professional to become entrenched in this role and remain committed to doing their very best to support our professionals. Our company's emergency management missions are critical and time-sensitive. As such, the Finance and Administrative Specialist will be embedded with our project team, working alongside project leadership in Tallahassee, Florida.

Successful professionals at Hagerty are extremely detail-oriented, are exceptional communicators, and have an analytical approach to solving problems.

In this role, candidates must have:

  • At least one year of professional experience in an administrative, bookkeeping, or finance position (or mixture of these disciplines).

  • A strong understanding of accounting and finance principles.

  • Skills in MS Office products (including advanced features in Excel, such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables), Google Drive, and Adobe.

  • An associate’s degree.

Candidates may also have:

  • Experience in financial auditing.

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.

  • Experience auditing expenses in alignment with General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) (e.g., per diem, lodging, etc.).
