Family Care Health Centers is seeking a full-time experienced Financial Accountant to work as an integral role in our growing accounting team environment. This position develops organization financial statements and department financial report preparation. Also prepares financial modeling and cost analysis for organization and departments. Other duties include: Completes monthly reconciliation of operating and flexible spending bank accounts. Ensures the monthly Bank Reconciliation activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner. Assists with financial projections actual compared to budget. Develops proformas. Responsible for the completion of bi-weekly payroll to comply with federal, state and local wage and hour standards. Maintains accurate records of grants reporting and billings. Ensures all daily bank electronic and credit card deposits are recorded and imported in Sage 300 Bank Services. Performs other duties as assigned including backup for Accounts Payable. Position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Position requires the ability to work a full-time schedule. COVID vaccine, FLU vaccine and PPD screening are required for employment at FCHC.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.

Two (2) years or more accounting work experience related to financial statement and department financial statement preparation and financial analysis required.

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) preferred.

Experience with Sage 300 Software and other accounting systems preferred.

Other Requirements:

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Computer literate a must

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

Ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with professionals of all disciplines

Willing to work a full-time schedule, including evening hours and an occasional Saturday if necessary
