We are looking for a Financial Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently and wants to learn. This person will assist the Fiscal team with administrative tasks relating to all spending for our PFY (formerly Pride for Youth) division. This includes monitoring, reconciling and recording spending as well as assisting with budget creation.
Responsibilities:
- Review spending on budgets and provide justification for purchases
- Manage disbursement of petty cash and client gift cards
- Prepare monthly reconciliation for credit card use
- Monitor subcontractor billing on various grant contracts
- Assist PFY and fiscal team with developing budgets for new contracts
- Other tasks as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel) or related software
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 years of work experience in a professional setting
- Experience with non-profit organizations a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
