Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a First-Line Product & Service Quality Manager to join our Delivery Team located in Renton, WA.

The 737 team is looking for a first line quality manager to support return to delivery. This is a fast-paced flight line position. The candidate will be supporting a team of 10 to 15 quality inspectors. They will be releasing aircraft and preforming QMS oversight activities site wide. This manager will be reporting to a senior quality manager supporting operations quality management.

Position Responsibilities

  • Will make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies.
  • Manages employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures and government regulations.
  • Provides education, coaching and review of Quality Management System.
  • Develops and maintains relationships, partnerships and communication with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employee.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience)

  • Must have a Repairman Certificate or the ability to obtain based on eligibility requirements C.F.R. § 65.101MRB.
  • Experience/certification in Material Review Board (MRB).
  • 3+ years of experience in aircraft engineering and repair authority.
  • 3+ years of experience in aircraft assembly.
  • Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working on the 737 Program.
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with 787 aircraft.
  • Have or held an Airframe and Power plant (A&P) License
  • Experience with flight line.

Relocation

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area.

Shift Work Statement

This position is for 2nd or 3rd shift.

Summary pay range: 115,600 – 156,400
