FITNESS DEPARTMENT MANAGER Successful candidates will have the following:

Education REQUIRED: Bachelors degree in one of these exercise related areas: Exercise Science, Health Science, Physical Education or related health field.

Preferred: Preferably, candidates should have at least 3 years of experience as a Fitness Manager/Supervisor in a social and athletic club environment.

Certification required: CPR/AED & First Aid Certified, N.S.C.A.,N.A.S.M. and/or A.C.S.M. Current certifications required.

Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to, being responsible for operations of the Fitness Department, hiring, training and scheduling Fitness Instructors, Fitness Interns and Personal Trainers and working Fitness Floor hours in addition to assuring that all Fitness Floor hours are covered.

This person will be responsible for acting as part of the Club Management team with responsibilities that include Club Floor Manager on Duty shifts, working club functions and participating in management meetings.

MUST HAVE FLEXIBLE HOURS OF AVAILABILITY TO WORK.

Full time 40 - 45 hrs per week

Some days, nights and weekends are required to work.

This is NOT a 9am - 5pm position.
