To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a Flight Operations Training Coordinator. The Flight Operations Training Coordinator will facilitate new hire and recurrent pilot training events, schedule and confirm travel arrangements, and review Federal Aviation Association (FAA) forms. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and have excellent communication skills. This position reports to the Fleet Captain.
Essential Duties:
  • Facilitate new hire and recurrent pilot training events
  • Schedule hotels for students and instructors; provide data for hotel budget
  • Create weekly simulator schedules
  • Review FAA forms and temporary certificates
  • Reconcile billing
  • Maintain supply inventory
  • Confirm travel arrangements
  • Communicate schedules and schedule changes to pilots and instructors
  • Update informational displays with current class times and locations
  • Answer incoming calls and handle all correspondence
Job Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a busy office environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Work Environment:
  • Standard office environment, use of computers and other office equipment
  • All shifts including weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts
  • Some travel is required
Physical Requirements:
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
