JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Associate enters orders, schedules work/production, supervises and trains Associates, receives/stores/stocks items, checks dates, and does all department tasks as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Promptly, at the start of the shift, the employee will review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with PPE requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties.
  • The Associate enters orders, schedules work/production, supervises and trains Associates, receives/stores/stocks items, checks dates, and does all department tasks as needed.
  • The Associate uses a U boat cart to get inventory from receiving, puts inventory into floral cooler.
  • The Associate makes arrangements, serves customers, wraps flowers or plants, inflates ballons as required.
  • The Associate keeps the department and cooler clean.
  • The Associate tracks and records loss.

JOB TASKS:
Task 1. The Associate enters orders, schedules work/production, supervises and trains Associates, and does all department tasks as needed.
Task 2. The Associate pushes/pulls a U boat cart to receiving, loads the cart with cartons and containers, and pushes the cart to the
Department, unloads and stores goods and supplies.
Task 3. The Associate makes arrangements, serves customers, wraps flowers or plants, inflates balloons as required.
Task 4. The Associate disconnects and rolls the balloon gas tanks when necessary.
Task 5. The Associate cleans, sweeps, and vacuums the department as necessary.
Task 6. The Associate removes trash and cardboard by U boat as necessary.
Task 7. The Associate stocks, rotates and waters product on the sales floor.
Task 8. The Associate tracks and records loss.
Task 9. The Associate performs record keeping functions as assigned by Department Manager.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be authorized to work in the US.

  • Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.

GENERAL RULES:

  • Report ALL ACCIDENTS & file incident report to the Supervisor within 24 hours.
  • Get first aid IMMEDIATELY for ALL injuries.

  • Must complete & follow “Lockout/Tagout” training.
  • Must complete & follow “Confined Space” training.
