The minimum requirements we seek
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field
- 2+ years of experience with quality assurance methodologies and/or managing test projects
- 2+ years of experience with automotive component design

- Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field
- 5+ years of experience with quality assurance methodologies and/or managing test projects
- 5+ years of experience with automotive component design

What you will be able to do
Lead core electrical/mechanical requirement development for electronic module requirements to support global vehicle programs throughout the product lifecycle
and maintain and update program requirements
You will:
- Lead core electrical/mechanical requirement development for electronic module requirements to support global vehicle programs throughout the product lifecycle
- Maintain and update program requirements
- Development/support of Functional Safety requirements
- Develop and maintain mechanical specification for all electrical control modules
- Single point of contact for core mechanical validation
- Define test plans for electronic modules
- Travel to manufacturing facilities with STA for PPAP
- Understand regulatory requirements, such as FMVSS/CMVSS/EC and perform sing-off in CDR
- Understand electronic/control manufacturing process, such as SMD, painting, knob/button assembly
- Lead in quality documents/PPAP review/sign-off
- Will be able to conduct early morning/late evening meeting with global regions
