The minimum requirements we seek

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field
  • 2+ years of experience with quality assurance methodologies and/or managing test projects
  • 2+ years of experience with automotive component design

  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field
  • 5+ years of experience with quality assurance methodologies and/or managing test projects
  • 5+ years of experience with automotive component design

What you will be able to do

Lead core electrical/mechanical requirement development for electronic module requirements to support global vehicle programs throughout the product lifecycle
and maintain and update program requirements

You will:

  • Lead core electrical/mechanical requirement development for electronic module requirements to support global vehicle programs throughout the product lifecycle
  • Maintain and update program requirements
  • Development/support of Functional Safety requirements
  • Develop and maintain mechanical specification for all electrical control modules
  • Single point of contact for core mechanical validation
  • Define test plans for electronic modules
  • Travel to manufacturing facilities with STA for PPAP
  • Understand regulatory requirements, such as FMVSS/CMVSS/EC and perform sing-off in CDR
  • Understand electronic/control manufacturing process, such as SMD, painting, knob/button assembly
  • Lead in quality documents/PPAP review/sign-off
  • Will be able to conduct early morning/late evening meeting with global regions
