Reports to: Food & Beverage Manager(s) / Supervisor(s)

Supervises: No Direct Reports

Compensation: $14/hour - $22/hour dependent on position and experience

Aronimink Golf Club is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. Service Team Members will ensure that Member and guest expectations, service, and overall dining experiences at Aronimink Golf Club are maintained daily and consistent with the Aronimink Brand. As a member of the food and beverage team, service team members will help provide an unforgettable dining experience for both Members and their guests. Applicants with experience working for superior hospitality organizations will be strongly considered.

Aronimink Golf Club is a private Platinum Golf Club, located just outside of Philadelphia in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. The Club has a rich history dating back to 1896. Aronimink Golf Club is set to hold the prestigious 2026 PGA Championship.

The Club is undergoing exciting renovations to update and enhance our Member Dining areas. The new, refreshed a la carte dining area is set to open in April 2023. Our team is excited to provide best-in-class service to our Members in a fresh, rejuvenated space.

We offer staff meals (lunch and dinner), employee uniforms, employee golf play days, and a friendly, engaging work environment.

Job Summary:

We are seeking pleasant, joyful people committed to high standards of customer service with attention to detail. The Service Team Members define the member experience and are knowledgeable of the club and our offerings. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, the ability to multi-task, and familiarity with high-touch customer service. This position requires flexibility on nights, weekends, and holidays.

FOH Staff Functions:

· Attends and Participates in all training sessions and team meetings

· Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner.

· Prepares for an upcoming event to include gathering supplies and proper set-up for a la carte dining, or per the Banquet Event Order

· Greet guests and members with a warm smile to make them feel welcome

· Takes drink orders from members, guests or servers

· Assists in general cleanliness of the bar, and bar storage areas

· Prepares for the shift by cutting fruit, making syrups, and gathering all bar supplies needed for the shift

· Replenish drinks and wine along with providing coffee services in a timely manner

· Responsiblily serves alcohol to guests, ensuring they are of age

· General clean-up and breakdown at the conclusion of a la carte service

· Reset the bar areas, dining areas for the next day or event

· Cater to the guests requests and needs in a prompt and professional manner to ensure an overall superior level of customer service

· Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct

· Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management

· RAMP Certification preferred, but not required

· Reports to the Food and Beverage Manager (s)

Essential Requirements:

· Must be at least 18 years old

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Possess basic knowledge of excellent service standards as well as etiquette.

· Possess good communication and guest relation skills

· Available to work weekends, evening shifts, and major holidays

· Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules

· Regular and predictable attendance.

· Arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance at all times

· Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.

· Able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance and in excess of 50 pounds with assistance

· Must be able to multi-task several different actions at once.

· Must be able to follow directions, read, and write

· Experience with a full-service country club operation preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
