Vivoli Il Gelato in Orlando, FL is looking for one assistant manager to join our 21 person strong team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged. As an Assistant Manager, you will support the General Manager in the day-to-day restaurant operations at Vivoli il Gelato. Responsibilities Work with the General Manager to train, supervise and develop associates, ensuring the consistent delivery of products and guest service. Maximize sales potential and profitability through promotions, guest satisfaction, monitoring labor costs, reviewing of financial information. Monitor food and beverage quality and presentation at all times. Build rapport with guests and ensure they have an enjoyable and memorable experience. Verify sales reporting, cash handling and payroll accounting reports; prepare various cost and operational reports. Maintain proper implementation of sanitation procedures and standards. Ensure that maintenance of all equipment is completed when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Train, coach, and develop employees and team leaders
• Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up
• Hold team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed
• Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service
• Ensure product quality, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance and security standards are met
• Staff and schedule appropriately to control labor costs
• Ensure proper cash handling and deposit procedures are followed
• Ensure appropriate inventory and ordering systems are in place

• Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
• Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
• Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused restaurant
• Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize
