Food Runner Job at Fiola Mare
Fiola Mare is our stylish, coastal Italian restaurant inspired by Fabio Trabocchi’s love for seafood. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively participates in all company training programs and consistently meets training expectations.
- Anticipates and accommodates guest needs throughout service.
- Conducts daily dining room and kitchen inspections.
- Sets up kitchen service stations according to layout standards.
- Assists in setting up the dining room.
- Maintains dining room (tables and stations) cleanliness and organization.
- Maintains dining room and kitchen station par-levels during service.
- Cleans and polishes items needed at the front-of-house.
- Runs, serves and describes guest-orders as per Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants standards.
- Clears dirty and used dishes from tables and service stations.
- Replaces used dishes and silverware.
- Restocks condiments as needed.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization at all kitchen service stations, including the dish area.
- Conducts all required Opening, Side-Work, Hand-Over and Closing Duties as outlined by Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants and management.
- Consistently maintains Grooming Standards.
- Maintains work-area and restaurant cleanliness and organization.
- Ensures foods and beverages served meet Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants quality standards.
- Reviews, understands and communicates guest-preference data to appropriate persons.
- Maintains a high level of food knowledge. Is able to describe guest-orders correctly.
- Consistently able to properly identify and explain menu items and ingredients based on appearance.
- Maintains an understanding of the proper steps of service required
- Is always pro-active and identifies potential problems before they arise.
- “Owns” problems when they arise and takes responsibility by finding solutions.
- Makes appropriate decisions, which are in the best interest of the guest, the employees and the company.
- Performs additional tasks at the direction of management.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in an upscale casual or fine dining restaurant, exp. with high volume a plus
- Excellent guest service skills
- Willingness to learn and grow
- Professional appearance and grooming standards appropriate for a premier fine dining restaurant
- Previous experience with Italian or Spanish restaurants a plus
- Full and part time positions available
