Food Service Substitute Job at West Ottawa Public Schools
- Some experience working in a food service environment preferred
- Experience working with children preferred
- Servsafe Certification a plus
- Assist in the preparation and service of school meals
- Assist with daily cleaning of kitchen, cafeteria and food service equipment
- Monitor children in the cafeteria to ensure safety and order. Other duties as assigned
- Will generally know several days in advance when and where work is assigned. On occassion, may be called the same day.
- Must be flexible with scheduling
- Physically demanding work
- Must be able to work at a quick pace while ensuring the safety of yourself and those around you
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and/or pull 20-50 pounds
