Job Title: Food Service Worker
Location: Sonny Callahan Branch

Theodore, AL 36619
Hours: Part Time, average of 10 hours per week (2 hrs./day)
Monday through Friday starting at 2:30 or 3:00 p.m. daily during the school year, and approximately 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. during the summer program.
Salary: $10.00 per hour
Duties: Serve food to youth, use tally sheet to mark those served, maintain cleanliness of the area, and maintain food storage. Minimal food preparation is required. Will receive Food Bank training as needed from Club staff. If interested, could also serve as a Program Aide, helping to supervise youth in any core area and on field trips as needed, and assist with events of the site. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent

Food handling experience and valid food handler’s permit a plus (will receive permit
on the job if needed).

Ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

Effective communication skills
Ability to supervise and work with youth
