Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of functions relating to food services.
- Delivers and retrieves patient food carriers to and from patient units.
- Performs a variety of functions relating to disassembling, washing, and storing of china, flatware, and other utensils for the service of foods.
- Performs various housekeeping responsibilities including sweeping, mopping, and using a floor machine and general cleaning.
- Responsible for collecting and emptying trash.
- Washes pots and pans and utensils.
- Assembles patient meal trays and delivers to the units.
Education
- Must be able to understand and communicate in English.
Experience
- Prefer previous work experience. Able to push a carrier weighing up to 300 lbs.
(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience).
Licensure/Certification
- Must obtain a food handlers permit from the Cleveland County Health dept. before hire (or within 1 week of hire).
Compensation/Benefits
- $9.65-$15.77/hr depending on previous work experience.
