Do you love food trucks? Do you want to work from your sofa? We’re looking for a highly organized person who has event planning, hospitality or customer service experience to work a few hours per day to set up our private events and manage our schedule. If you can also coordinate our social media presence, you’ll get a higher hourly rate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Event management

• Coordinate details of private events (backyard celebrations, staff appreciation lunches, etc.) including customize, prepare, and send documents to the client; guiding client menu selection; tracking payments; and create slideshows of client’s photos
• Schedule public events with venues (festivals, breweries, markets, etc.)
• Maintain event spreadsheet
• Keep public calendar current
• Establish and nurture relationships with clients and venues
• Balance the maximization of business revenue with client requests

Social media

• Post to Facebook and Instagram daily during busy season
• Plan content calendar
• Create content including but not limited to general marketing, schedule, weather cancellations, and user/customer engagement. Creativity encouraged!

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Able and willing to manage the manager (remind of deadlines, unanswered emails, etc.)
• Responsive to emails and texts
• Very organized and detail oriented
• Event planning, hospitality and/or customer service experience
• Knowledge of Facebook and Instagram best practices – use of algorithms, audience engagement and growth, etc.
• Google Calendar and Google Sheets
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and OneDrive
