What does a Forklift Driver/Order Picker do?

• Preparing orders for shipping
• Packing orders, working with customers to fulfill orders
• Spending some of their day on a sitdown forklift
• Communicating with other departments to make sure inventory and shipments are correct.
• Must read, write and speak English (will be completing shipping orders and greeting customers during pickup process)
• Must have forklift experience (previously certified is a plus).Will be on the forklift SOME but not all the time (this is not a straight forklift position)
• Must have good communication skills (will be working with several departments and have interaction with customers)
• Must be have steel toe boots

Compensation: $17.00 BOE

Shift: First Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Basic Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have a valid drivers license
• A background check may be required for this position
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work in a team oriented office
