The Beach Haven Hotel, a quaint boutique hotel just steps from the beach, is seeking a friendly and detail oriented professional to join our front desk team. We currently have a part-time position available. Must be able to work a flexible schedule of nights, weekends & holidays.
We’re looking for a positive and professional hotel front desk agent to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our hotel. You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. Some of your Responsibilities:
Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave.
Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, and special requests. Monitor security cameras, as well as doing walk arounds of property. Assist housekeeping with keeping laundry caught up.
Qualifications:
Preferably, 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist.
Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations
Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills.
Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
