Hennessey Valley Funeral Home & Crematory is proud to be a part of Carriage Services with over 200 funeral and cemetery businesses across the country.

We are looking for a part-time Front Desk Receptionist to be an integral part of our team. The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a busy office environment and will enjoy supporting our funeral director staff by answering phones, greeting visitors and handling various administrative and light janitorial tasks. If you're compassionate, open-minded, self-motivated and have excellent communication and organizational skills, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in either opening/closing procedures at the business.
• Maintain business activity records in accordance with laws and regulations.
• Answer questions and give directions to persons who call or visit.
• Answer telephones and greet visitors.
• Ensure that all calls are answered and that messages are taken properly.
• Use a personal computer and other office equipment such as fax machines, scanners, and photocopiers to process information.
• Accept checks and make change.
• Perform certain administrative, inventory, or support tasks as instructed.
• Assist in scheduling appointments or making outbound phone calls to funeral home clients.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
