Hourly rate $15-18 depends on experience, availability and intent to grow with us.

Front desk receptionist is responsible for providing service information to prospective clients, by capturing personal details, from the incoming calls. Utilizing information, such as personal style, goals, and needs, is an intergal part of connecting them with their perfect stylist/spa technician.

The coordinating details of each appointment are to ensure the guest’s satisfaction, which is our first priority.

The task and challenge of coordinating each existing client with the same attention of that of a potential client.

Job highlights

  • Oversees the Front Desk operations and acts with the confidence of a manager on duty in the event that a manager or owner are unavailable.
  • Welcomes and checks in each salon/spa guest; explaining the establishment and options for add on services.
  • Offers wine, coffee, water etc. upon arrival.
  • Establishes credit card on file to be held in profile, with comfort and care of safety being our top concern.
  • Checks guests out of the salon; preparing the ticket, adding gratuity, and explaining the bill, as needed to client.
  • Responds to a wide variety of client requests, as each client is top priority, including accurately assessing their needs and requests, especially in regards to accommodating their schedule for appointments.
  • Schedules appointments, with careful notice of current scheduled timing, as all clients are pre-booked .
  • Maintains an appointment 'wait list'; adding clients to the 'wait list', to ensure that we do our best to get them scheduled, is a vital part of the position.
  • Makes personal service recommendations to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Responds to all interactions in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and comfort.
  • Ensures all doors are locked at closing.
  • Completes cashier and closing reports, which includes counting the drawers at the end of each shift and reporting correct cash totals.
  • You’ll be the face of the salon! As clients enter, a warm and comfortable greeting to ensure them that you've got It under control, is important!
  • We want to leave guests feeling more relaxed as they leave compared to when they came in.

Qualifications

  • Presents ones self with a professional outward appearance, with a wardrobe of all Black professional clothing, hair and makeup done before your shift.
  • Beholds a warm, people-oriented demeanor.
  • Comfortability in a fast-paced, people focused environment, while maintaining a calm, confident approach to clients.
  • Organized, detail and multi-task oriented, as well as adaptable to frequent changes.
  • A team-first attitude.
