SAGE Dining Services® is seeking a full-time Front of House attendant for a beautiful private school in Bedford, NY.

The ideal candidate will care for the front of the house, keeping it inviting, clean, and full of items for the optimum dining experience. Qualifying applicants have excellent customer service, are friendly and outgoing, and have the ability to make customers feel welcomed and appreciated. SAGE Stewards handle sanitation details for the dining area and serving areas. They help keep the salad bar, fresh bakery, cereal counter, beverage line, and food service lines fully stocked, attractive, and appealing to our customers.

• 7:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.

What you'll do:

• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
• Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile
• Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience.
• Rotate products in inventory.
• Maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled dishes.
• Set-up and break down the dish machine and sanitizing equipment.
• Bag all garbage and boxes and disposing these in appropriate dumpsters.
• Adhere to SAGE’s safety and allergy prevention policies.
• Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management.
• Endure exposure to extreme temperatures; intense heat and freezing cold.

What you'll need:

• Ability to keep all stock areas neat and clean.
• Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures.
