Job Description

The Front Office Manager assists the Skyview Upper Management team with front desk and housekeeping operations. The FOM position trains front desk agents, completes various administrative duties and assists to maintain housekeeping cleaning standards. The FOM ensures guest satisfaction is maximized from front desk agents/lead agents. The FOM assists the GM in ordering all hotel supplies, office supplies and mini bar offerings. Above all, the Front Office Manager ensures brand standards of hotel service through extensive front desk training and systems.

Operation Responsibilities:

- To utilize existing training standards of procedures, checklists and other written documents for a detailed and ongoing training training program with all staff. This includes updating, modifying and adding to training documents where necessary with upper management approval

- To manage service in all hotel busy points, specifically check in and out times

- Cover front desk shifts throughout any needs during the week and weekend

- To maintain the front desk team’s day-to-day work productively with professional communication

- Use time management to balance guest needs, team efficiency and tasks assigned by upper management without the need for overtime

- Ensure all guest-facing areas and surfaces are clean and tidy. This pertains to the lobby, retail space, deck, courtyard and pool deck

- Assist Norman Restaurant Management when departments overlap, communication needs, ordering, etc.

- Maximize concierge of the Norman Restaurant and nearby attractions

- To foresee operational deficiencies, potential problems and communicate possible solutions to the Skyview Managers

- Alongside the GM, the management of front desk agents, leads, room attendants and laundry attendants on breaks, performance and discipline when needed

- When the GM and AGM are not on property, the ability to take a leadership role in an emergency or safety situation, with documentation following it

Administrative Duties:

- Work with the GM and accounting to resolve any Norman restaurant receipt or Hotel folio issues

- Complete all Revinate Survey responses, as well as all OTA review responses

- Complete all lost & found responsibilities, as well as mailing & postage

- Complete weekly property accounts payable invoice coding for GM approval

- Complete mini bar and hotel ordering, inventory and maintain pricing

- Assist the GM and retail management of products and inventory

- Assist the GM in any chargebacks

- Assist the GM and Maintenance Engineer with necessary property maintenance

Must have 1+ year's hotel experience. Must have 3+ years of customer service experience. Please send resume and expect an on-site interview in next steps.
