Job summary

• Responsible for the efficient operation of commissary services for all contracted facilities/correctional institutions.
• Provide leadership and vision to staff including organizing and overseeing the schedules and work of assigned staff.
• Provide annual reviews for each employee. This position will be responsible for proper documentation reporting to corporate HR.
• Train new staff
• Maintain adequate staffing levels.
• Properly handle shortages or damages for orders within company policy.
• Care for and maintain any on-site products and keep the work areas clean.
• Maintain equipment necessary to carry out the commissary functions. This will include training onsite staff.
• Act as liaison with facility staff on a day-to-day basis.
• Assist employees with basic software training and operation.
• Work closely with the Territory Manager to provide great service to the assigned facility including reporting service or relationship issues immediately.

Summary of essential job functions

• Represent the company in a positive manner at all times.
• Ensure that all facility security regulations and procedures are adhered to by all company staff on site.
• Plans and organizes daily activities related to production and operations.
• Measure productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
• Coordinates with other support departments such as human resources, finance, and logistics to ensure successful production operations.
• Determines labor needs to meet production goals.
• Maintain a working knowledge of company software and equipment installed
• Carry out duties as assigned by company management.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred, but not required.
• Five years of operations/distribution management preferred.

Minimum requirements

• A general working knowledge of company software and related hardware used at assigned facilities to conduct the commissary operation.
• Ability to manage others and work well individually and as part of a team.
• Possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must have a valid state issued ID

Abilities required

• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Lift items weighing up to sixty (60) pounds to a height of 54 inches
• Ability to communicate verbally
• Capability to work well individually and as part of a team
