Tyler Winery is seeking a Full-Charge Bookkeeper with exceptional attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be primarily responsible for the company’s record-keeping activities by completing data entry for financial transactions, managing accounts receivable and payable, creating reports and reconciling accounts to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general accounting, payroll and benefits administration, and management reporting. Experience in the wine industry is highly preferred.

$55,000 - $70,000

• Monthly reconciliation of all bank accounts
• Preparation and posting of Journal Entries
• Monthly review and reconciliation of General Ledger accounts
• Preparation of commercial invoices and export shipment documentation
• Cash flow management and analysis
• Semi-monthly payroll, benefits, PTO, timecard, etc.
• Monthly expense reporting and reconciliation
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual inventory reconciliation
• Ad Hoc and routine financial reporting and analytical support for senior management
• Manage accounts receivable aging and past due account follow up
• Participation in quarterly and annual statutory tax and financial reporting with external CPAs
• Preparation and maintenance of financial projection models
• Participation in annual department operating and capital budget development
• Other related duties as assigned

• Associate’s Degree in Accounting or similar from an accredited college or university; or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional accounting/bookkeeping experience, preferably in the wine industry
• Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of winery compliance regulations preferred
• Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks on a deadline
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and flexibly in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and self-starter with the ability to work with a team and add value
