Position Overview

Matrix Precise is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Sr. Java Developer who will be working on designing and developing clinical applications. This individual will be creating first class web applications. You will be designing the total customer experience though your interaction/ work processes, while maintaining a user-centered approach in design perspective and practice.

This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting Java based components and interfaces. This individual should have a broad understanding of various coding methodologies, testing practice, and tools. While be able to apply each method to achieve the desired outcomes. The ideal candidate must display excellent written and oral skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organization abilities and must be able to work in a varied, fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building Full-Stack scalable applications from end-to-end
• Work as a collaborative team member with business partners, developers, and fellow designers.
• Help scrum masters, product managers and BAs assess and prioritize opportunities and constraints in an agile development methodology.
• Rapidly iterate design prototypes and working applications.
• Supports the entire software development life cycle including support and maintenance.
• Responsible for code asset management for applications, and support and promoting asset reuse.
• Performs unit/integrated completed system testing according to detailed functional specification.
• Supports the implementation of systems into production.
• Assists team members performing system maintenance, and support tasks.
• Utilizes accepted methodologies and tools in a disciplined manner.
• Works independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.

Experience/ Skills

• Over 12+ years of experience working IT industry designing and developing solutions in Java.
• Experience in Tomcat, RestAPI, Hibernate
• Experience in JavaScript frameworks (such as React JS, Angular), JQuery, Ajax, HTML, Responsive Design, Testing Frameworks, CSS, and overall strong in Core Java
• Experience in using JIRA, Rally,and other agile and software development tools (e.g. Jenkins and Git)
• Solid Knowledge of SQL development and performance tuning.
• Working experience in Micro Service Architecture, Containers
• Have handled user support incidents from field and driving them to closure.
• Thorough familiarity with source control tool such as Git
• Thorough understanding of OOADD
• Demonstrated the ability to design, plan and execute
• Adaptable and able to pick up new technologies and design techniques
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS or related experience required

• Experience with NOSQL databases
• Prior experience working in HealthCare industry
