Description

A friendly and loving Bedford family seeks a FT nanny to care for their two young children.

The ideal candidate is nurturing, warm, engaging, and has plenty of energy to keep up with the two. A positive, fun, and kind Nanny would do well in this role. Given that the toddler loves to explore the outdoors and be on the go, weekly activity planning will go a long way; being organized, and creative will help the kids have fun adventures while learning and engaging.

The family practices child-led parenting, and family time is a big priority to them. A nanny that has experience with this parenting philosophy and is able to be the family’s right hand would be a great fit.

Parents work a hybrid schedule, between home and commuting to NYC + lower Westchester

Mom is on maternity leave until May and will be able to assist with the transition and adjustment.

To apply for this job, all candidates must:

• Have a clean/valid driver's license
• Be Infant CPR/First AID Certified or be willing to
• Own transportation to reach the destination but family car available for nanny to use. If nanny prefers to use own vehicle during work hours - Mileage and Gas reimbursement is offered
• Have experience with multiple children at once, with infants and toddlers experience preference
• Have a positive, upbeat and warm personality
• Be self-driven, independent and have strong multitasking skills
• Have excellent communication skills to keep parents in the loop at all times
• Be comfortable with two sweet dogs
• Use early childhood development/Montessori methods to engage with the children and assist with their overall growth
• Able to use positive reinforcement and gentle parenting techniques
• Be able to do light housekeeping, children’s laundry and tidying up
