Full Time Nanny Needed in Maitland

SCHEDULE: Mon & Tues - 3pm-8pm

Wed - 2pm-8pm

Sat - 12pm-8pm

Sun - 11am-6pm

(36 hours per week)

One child: 9 year old boy on the autism spectrum-nonverbal but can understand all that is communicated to him.

Loving Maitland family is looking for an attentive and kind nanny to care for their sweet son. Child is on the autism spectrum and is non-aggressive. He is extremely sweet and loves the outdoors! Ideal nanny also enjoys being outside and engaging in outdoor play just as much as indoor play. Looking for a nanny that has special needs experience, but is open to training the right candidate as patience and personality are top priority. Although child is non-verbal, he does understand everything that is said and communicates hand over hand. Child does attend school and nanny will be assisting when he returns home from school. Summer hours or school breaks will be additional hours per week and full time, overtime will be compensated! Looking for a nanny that is open to traveling with the family throughout the year for short trips. Ideal nanny also has flexibility to stay overnight when parents are out of town. Must be comfortable supervising water play as family does have a pool. Ideal nanny would love to swim with him! He is an excellent swimmer and loves the water.

Family does have two large dogs. Ideal candidate is also a dog lover.

Other duties will include cleaning common areas, cleaning up after meal prep or tidying up kitchen after meals, helping with children’s laundry if needed, tidying up after child.
