First-time parents, a British family of three (and a puppy) in Foggy Bottom, DC (20037), seek a Dependable, Calm, and Patient Live-Out Nanny for their two-month-old (almost three months at start date) daughter starting 03/06/2023. Both parents work from home 100% of the time in a separate working space.

As first-time parents, it is important their nanny is experienced in infant care and childhood development and can provide them with guidance and support in raising their first child. We seek a warm, dog-loving nanny looking to become a part of their little family and grow with them over the years. Someone who will engage their infant in age-appropriate activities and will be creative in encouraging a stimulating environment is ideal. A nanny who is bilingual and speaks Spanish is preferred. A valid First-Aid & CPR Certification is required.

The predicted weekly schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (no weekends required.) Detail-orientated, relaxed, and experienced are the key parts of the role. A candidate who is comfortable keeping a log of the baby's sleeping, diapers, and eating is expected, as are daily updates on their child's development/care. You'll be responsible for caring for their child throughout the day, creating age-appropriate activities to keep him engaged, and handling light housekeeping, baby laundry, and baby meal prep - All duties are childcare related.
