Tasks include planting, weeding, hand pruning, raking, handling bags of soil and plants, fertilizing, pest control, mounting orchids, general property maintenance and the ability to lift 30-40 lbs. This is a detail orientated job for an active person. Stamina to work outside in the Florida heat is a must. A vehicle is required to drive to and from and in between properties.
Experience is appreciated but most important is a good work ethic, desire to learn and ability to handle the heat.
We also have an open air retail store carrying handmade gifts and decor, crystals, locally sourced pieces, plants, repurposed products and indoor/outdoor goods.
Part of the job would be helping with gardening/maintenance tasks around the shop and property and/or working the retail shop.
- Must love working outside, even in summer heat!
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Part time position 2-3 days a week
