Gen. Laborer/ Forklift/ Truck Driver Job at Federal Marine Terminals, Inc. (FMT)
FMT has been handling cargoes in the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River and along the East and Gulf coasts since 1960. Originally established to complement the freight operations of the Montreal-based Fednav, FMT soon began to function independently and is now recognized as an industry leader servicing bulk, specialized, and general cargo needs.
We are currently recruiting for several positions to work at our terminal in Port Manatee, Florida. Hours and schedule vary depending on terminal and vessel needs. Overtime is offered once you exceed 40 hours/week, on weekends, and anytime between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M.
The following positions are available:
Forklift Operator, Yard Truck Driver, General Labor
Ideal candidate should:
- Must be able to show up to work on time every shift.
- Be able to work varied and at times long hours.
- Have a valid driver license and transportation to and from work.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must not be afraid of heights.
- Able to take direction and work with a team.
- Able to pass a drug screen.

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
