SVS Group is currently looking to hire Candidates to work at an Outdoor Metal Foundry Client of ours here in Tempe, AZ. You will have typical Outdoor work in a Metal Foundry to include:

• Our client is a competitive steel foundry located in Tempe, AZ producing high quality castings for the mining industry. Our fast paced, production environment is searching for qualified candidates to fill a number of Production Specialist roles within our facility.
• Main thing is you will be working outdoors in the heat
• Melting Metal
• Building Molds to make tools from the melted metal
• Grind down the metal and Deburr
• A lot of heavy lifting, shoveling, sweeping, grinding.

Requirements:

• You must have experience working outdoors - People from the construction industry tend to do well here. We also hire landscapers, roofers, miners, people from the oil rigs, basically anyone that has a lot of experience working outdoors.
• We also love to hire Veterans right out of the military
• You must be ok working outside. This client melts metal so it will be even hotter at this foundry than the temperature outside
• You must not mind getting dirty or working very hard. It is labor intensive
• You must be ok with heavy lifting - Up to 50 pounds
• We are hiring for both Day Shift and Night Shift but you must be able to work a lot of hours. Night shift does pay more.
• They operate Monday - Saturday and when they are busy the overtime on Saturday is mandatory. They don't always work Saturday though.
• You must take direction well and you must get along well with others
• You must have fantastic attendance and punctuality
• Candidates must possess a stable employment history, pass a pre-employment physical, background check and a drug test.
• Must be able to transport themselves to and from work and maintain a stable attendance record.
• Physical demands vary by department, but are generally physical in nature, including standing for prolonged periods of time, walking, handling of objects or tools, withstanding extreme temperature changes, bending, lifting and carrying objects over 50 pounds.
