General labor- sub contractor position- Background check required, need to confirm your identification and any negative information about your past. Duties include but not limited to, setting up and tear down of zip wall and dust containment areas. Demolition of existing doors, removing screws, casing and jamb. Pack out- haul materials and tools from truck to work location. Usually under 200 ft. Assist carpenter/installer with his duties. Clean up with shop vacuum or broom. Wipe down with wet rags. Some standing around but always something to learn. Cutting wood as needed and various other tasks. Must have experience with home improvements. Problem solving and thinking is required.

No tools required to start. Transportation is required. Clean appearance is important. You will be in another persons home.

Travel- work area is west Michigan. I handle the lakeshore from Holland to Ludington. Also the Comstock Park area. You can meet at my place or the Project location. some days maybe both. other days may require a longer day. Example- big project in Ludington. 12-14 hour day and 200 miles of driving. You will be required to ride those days. Also available are projects in Travers city and Benton Harbor.

We work outside every day. Rain or shine.
