We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Laborer to join our team of hard-working professionals. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, and is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that the job is done correctly. This job requires that the candidate be comfortable working with heavy equipment and moving large quantities of stock, so we are particularly interested in hiring someone who is in shape and physically fit. Responsibilities:

• Possess good writing skills.
• Read and interpret blueprints and/or technical drawings.
• Inspect materials, supplies and/or equipment.
• Perform heavy physical work in extreme conditions.
• Work irregular or extended hours, or alternate shifts in order to meet deadlines or respond to customer needs.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
• Learn to operate a variety of tools and equipment (i.e., crane operator for excavation);.Sufficient knowledge of the operation of a personal computer.
• Communicate effectively with other workers (e.g., construction, production, quality control) to coordinate work activities.
• Exhibit sufficient knowledge of the products and services offered by the company.
• Apply mechanical abilities in the construction process.
• Be familiar with environmental regulations related to construction projects.
• Exhibit knowledge of mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, percentages, decimals and proportions.
• Demonstrate sufficient knowledge about general building codes and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring in buildings.
• Exhibit knowledge about building materials such as concrete, steel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
