Position Overview:

The General Laborer will have an active role in the production and general operations processes of a manufacturing facility. This positions primarily follows instructions from supervisors to perform manual tasks. This position will report to the department or shift manager.

Responsibilities:

This position involves many diverse functions that may include, (but is not limited to), any and/or all of the following duties:

Material handling and distribution.

General repair.

Painting.

General carpentry.

Sandblasting

General mechanical and/or electrical assembly, (with guidance).

Must be able to use, or be trained to use,: Hand tolls, Electric tools, Pnuematic tools.

Light assembly

Clean up worksites.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or equivalent.

Apprenticeship or specialization is a plus.

Must be results oriented and a team player.

Commitment to safety guidelines.

Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
