General Laborer - Boat builders Job at Crest Marine
Summary: A Boat Builder will be work in one of the following departments: Upholstery, Foam, Woodshop, Rail Install, Rail Panel, Rail Assembly, Decking, Channeling, Sandblast & Powder Coat, Final Finish or Luxury. These are all mini departments that play a major role in building our product. GUARANTEE WAGE INCREARSE EVERY 6 MONTHS FOR THE FIRST 18 MONTHS
Essential Job Functions:
· May operate saws and hand tools of a vast variety
· May work with glues and adhesives
· Some departments may require daily drilling, assembly, or cutting of materials
· Daily cleaning tasks of boats and/or department required
· Responsible for producing quality work free of damages
· Must be mechanical inclined or have building skills
· May need to understand basic wiring and/or installation of wiring harness and speakers
· Specific departments may work with fiberglass
· To have a high understanding of basic measurements and ability to follow work instruction
Requirements:
- Experience in manufacturing (preferred)
- Ability to work in hot, cold, load, dusty, and dirty environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
· Be coachable and process the ability to take direction
- A+ Attendance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
