JOB SUMMARY:

General Managers are the key liaison between a company’s headquarters and assigned area branches. They manage operational practices, ensure budget and sales goals are achieved, and train and cultivate strong teams of on-site managers. General Managers are expected to guarantee that company practices and policies are understood by all in their location. The ultimate goal of a general manager is to motivate and direct the activities of on-site managers who run the units or store they are responsible for. General managers will be required to make bold decisions and must possess strong leadership skills.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee day to day operations which include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining a positive and highly motivated work environment
• Overseeing all departments: onsite, drivers, inventory and ensuring all expectations are being met and productivity is aligned with company standards
• Maintaining a strong relationship with recruiters and informing of hiring needs
• Maintaining a strong relationship with assistant onsite managers and drivers
• Reviewing daily intakes to ensure accuracy with the cash log
• Maintaining Cash Log and preparation for money drop and/or pick up(light accounting)
• Excellent Communication skills with team members and upper management
• Resolve internal conflicts efficiently and professional
• Meeting with employees when disciplinary action and counseling to help them improve
• Problem solving and Critical thinking with the ability to come up with solutions to any issues that may arise
• Creating and maintaining a schedule for Onsite management team
• Reviewing all time punches and ensuring all have been approved and adjusted prior to the end of pay period
• Upholding the rules and regulations of the company employee handbook
• Conducting Team huddles. Go over wins and areas of improvement. Inspire your team
• Collecting / Analyzing data from your team to look for ways to grow better
• Review Incident Reports to look for ways to prevent them
• Review Driver Feedback
• Evaluating team performance / team productivity
• Weekly reports (sales, employee cost, % loss or damage products)

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• 21 years of age or older
• Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various softwares and databases
• Money management experience with high volume transactions
• Strong leadership qualities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• GED/High School and Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
• 2 years of Cannabis experience preferred
• 2 years of operations management in any industry
