Retail Sales Associate
Balsam Lake Ace Hardware is seeking a Retail Sales Associate. Primary responsibilities are interacting and serving the customers with emphasis on problem solving and customer relations. In this position, you will need to become very familiar with a range of products.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Engage and help with customer needs and responding to those needs and inquiries.
- Responsible for operating Point of Sale computer system for processing the payment transaction, making change and other financial transactions.
- Taking and creating U-Haul reservations, process rental transaction including completion of all necessary contracts and other financial documentation.
- Display merchandise products in all areas of the store. Including routine stocking of products and displaying products on end caps.
- Perform other duties as may be presented.
Skills & Qualifications
- Customer service and relationship development skills.
- Communication skills, ability to interact with customers.
- Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to routinely lift 50 pounds.
- Demonstrate organizational skills, problem solving and thoughtful decision-making skills
Experience
- Individual should have a high school diploma.
- Hardware knowledge or experience is not necessary, but learning is.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
