SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Global Business Process Owner will be responsible for driving constant process improvement and global standardization. This role will influence and facilitate key stakeholders across the globe to understand the business processes and define the strategic roadmap for those processes. The Global Business process Owner will lead the Source to Pay Global Process to drive “end-to-end” process management and governance for enterprise-wide processes. They will be accountable for establishing a sound platform for sustaining the standardization, efficiency and effectiveness benefits of redesigned transactional processes. The Global Business Process Owner will partner closely with IT to analyze needs, assess internal/external tools, and deploy/deliver the tools that reflect best in class for the process.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Develop the vision and strategy for the respective end-to-end process(es). This should consider all aspects of the operating model including performance targets, process, people, service delivery model, data and technology. They will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to the program budget and spend.
  • Define, communicate and update global policies and procedures to establish a consistent approach across all BUs
  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement, adherence, and proactively propose enhancement to Global Standards
  • Define and monitor Metrics and KPI’s to identify and address/improve performance gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Ensure a common global process design that is strictly governed by a set of clearly defined controls
  • Lead overall training strategy, needs assessment, and development of training curriculum and materials. Partner with system implementation partner to drive User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Collaborate regularly with relevant Functional Leaders to support all GBPO initiatives
  • Advise functional management on the development of standards and business rules for data stewardship
  • Act as the highest level of escalation point for issue resolution within the process
  • Lead human capital processes and managerial expectations at QH with performance management, succession planning, communications, training etc. for team

WORK ENVIRONMENT / EHS RESPONSIBILITIES

Home or office based.

Regional and international traveling required few times per year to our various regions for project work and coordination of activities.

Maintain the highest EHS standards of all sites visited.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

Key Education or Certification Required

Bachelor’s degree required, in business or engineering preferred. MS/MBA a plus.

Required Minimum Number of Years of Relevant Experience

  • 10+ years overall experience, ideally in the Chemicals /Diversified Industrial Products/ Manufacturing industry
  • 5+ years of progressive process specific experience, e.g. running department related to Order to Cash or owning the process.
  • 3+ years supervisory experience required
