Join us as a Global Intranet and News Manager:
As the Global Intranet and News Manager, you’ll lead our firmwide intranet strategy to drive increased employee engagement, collaboration and productivity. Your ability to balance immediate needs with long-term vision will help you successfully drive the overall strategy, while managing daily program management, fresh content, and incremental evolution. By working closely with the Systems, Marketing and the lines of business teams, you’ll ensure that the intranet remains relevant with up-to-date content and tools that features engaging news.
To be successful, you’ll need to be proactive and agile, enjoy working with others, understand new technology and have exceptional writing and organizational skills that incorporate your knack for creativity and logical organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the intranet as a key internal communications channel and ensure delivery of simple, intuitive, and engaging content to all end users.
  • Provide daily management of content strategy and calendar; negotiate content placement amongst key stakeholders and manage daily needs.
  • Craft key messages, consulting with project teams and leaders on the communication approach
  • Drive Firm strategic messages and educate employees on strategy, culture, benefits and resources.
  • Generate creative campaigns that increase participation in activities and usage of Firm resources.
  • Provide consultation to community managers/content owners on site functionality, design, and website structure.
  • Create, review, edit and manage content within the platform; writing for various target audiences.
  • Articulate business needs to enable systems experts to successfully translate to technical requirements.
  • Create and deliver educational/technical training sessions for new intranet content users.
  • Analyze user data and feedback to evolve site and maintain optimal user experience.
  • Drive usage through communications and change management.
  • Manage testing and system upgrades.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree; degree in English/Journalism preferred.
  • 5-8 years of professional communications experience with various digital channels
  • Hands-on experience with creating websites and applications; Core media platform experience of special interest.
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
  • Self-starter with the ability to build your own internal credibility and become a sought-after resource for communications advice and counsel.
