Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate would be responsible for the successful completion of the following tasks:

  • Work across the technology function and with all aspects of our infrastructure and security teams and assets while managing projects
  • Simultaneously manage and/or oversee large, long range, or multiple complex Infrastructure projects such as Data Center Consolidation, Cloud migration, Network Redesign, ITSM based operations improvements, etc
  • Guide technology and business teams so that tasks and activities are coordinated for project objectives, scope control, quality control, communication management, change control management, risk management and issue management
  • Develop project scope, cost estimates, human resource requirements, work plans, time schedules, communication plans, and makes work assignments to meet project or program objectives
  • Work with the infrastructure and Security portfolio manager and leaders to continuously manage priorities, issues, risks and decisions as projects are managed to successful completion
  • Perform troubleshooting and problems solving skills to project teams in planning, solutioning, and executing projects
  • Provide strong stakeholder management skills (engagement, leadership, collaboration, communications, etc) within and across assigned projects
  • Leverage Agile methodology and Jira SDLC tool knowledge to manage team efforts within and across projects, including work assignments, progress, burn rates, and daily standups
  • Demonstrate strong relationship and networking skills across technology and business departments to effectively manage and deliver projects
  • Meeting preparation with the stakeholders raising appropriate status, risks, and issues
  • Proactively understand the impact of upcoming changes to the Global Service Desk and communication to impacted parties
  • Compile and provide reporting on current status and initiatives to WSS Senior Management and other stakeholders
  • Partner with various technology teams on shift-left opportunities and efficiencies

Qualifications Required

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills, time management, & attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products including Project
  • Visio & SnagIt Experience
  • Strength in negation & acting with rigor
  • Focus on Customer Service
  • College degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with financial service firms
  • Management consulting experience in a technology environment
  • General experience and exposure to a wide range of technologies
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma and/or Agile

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $41.00 - $56.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Work Location: One location
