Job Description:
Peebles Golf Cars, an established Club Car distributor, is looking for a traveling mobile service golf car mechanic for a full-time position in the Chesapeake, VA area.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge of both electric and gas golf car repair and/or small engine and electrical systems repair.
Job duties will include: troubleshooting, service, and repair of golf cars and utility vehicles, adding accessories to golf cars for golf courses, individuals, businesses, universities, and military accounts. Experience with DC drive motors and 48-volt systems is highly preferred.
The ideal candidate will possess the mechanical knowledge to perform service repairs while out in the field and also customer service skills to communicate with clients, address their concerns, and communicate repair plans. Company transportation and gas card will be provided while traveling to/from service locations. Candidates must also have a good driving record.
We offer a competitive wage paid based on experience; vacation and health plan. Company will hire only non-smoking candidates.
Office and Shop hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday – Friday (Overtime is available with Manager approval).
