Golf Shop Associate – Harbor Links
Key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Administer all point of sales as it applies to green fees, merchandise sales, etc.
- Assist with merchandise and special order retail sales
- Reconcile daily tee sheets, check-in golfers and receive payments
- Promote all club golf activities
- Assist in maintaining a clean, orderly golf shop
- Assist with club tournaments
- Follow policies and procedures as established in opening and closing duties
The Golf Shop Associate position requires the ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism at all times. Must be able to multi-task and have ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Additionally, candidates must be able to pass pre-employment screening which may include background and drug testing.
Golf experience required. POS System experience a plus. Positive attitude with strong communication and people skills, and high level of membership service. Golf Tournament/League Operations experience a plus. Retail experience a plus. Must possess strong organizational skills.
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.- Ability to interact with customers on a friendly and professional level.
- Knowledge and passion for golf is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and working as part of a team.
- Work shifts will include closing of golf course. Evenings and nights required (as late as 9:00 pm), at least one weekend shift required.
- Ideal candidate would be available for 30-40 hours per week.
