- Must have a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate; LX or LQ endorsement required.
- Must meet highly qualified status for ESSA.
- Experience with standards based teaching, grading and rubric scoring desired.
- A proven track record of or experience increasing student achievement and closing
- the achievement gap.
- Strong collaborative skills are critical. Experience with PLC is desirable.
- The ability to thrive in a team-centered environment.
- A kid-centered, whole child approach to teaching and learning is preferred.
- A self-directed thinker and problem solver.
- Knowledge about Michigan Visual Arts Standards is essential.
